Due to storm damage and trail closures, we are teaming up with the Whiskey Hill Redwood Run on March 19, 2017 to conduct the 2017 RunforAmma.

This year we will be raising funds for targeted cancer research, specifically for the UCSF BRCA Center at the Helen Diller Cancer Center/Ashworth Lab. In the BRCA center, scientists and clinicians work together to understand hereditary tumours caused by mutations in the BRCA1 and BRCA2 gene, which consists of many ovarian, breast and gastrointestinal tumors. Local pro ultrarunner Paddy O’Leary is a post-doc researcher at the lab, making for a nice tie-in for our fundraising this year. Join Paddy at the race this year.
