The next running of the RunforAmma will take place on Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016. There will be 50K, 30K and 10K options this year.

This year the focus will be on raising funds for spinal cord injury awareness and the purchase of a road racing wheel chair for Ellen Pavitt (sister of Stevens Creek Striders longtime member and Last Chance Aid Station captain, Peggy Alfred). Ellen was injured in a single engine plane accident in April 2015 and is now a paraplegic. She is an avid lover of all things outdoors and has always had a passion for hiking and adventure.

Donors of $100 or more to the Ellen wheelchair fund, plus all race volunteers are invited to the post-race party where we will be hosting Ellen and her husband.

All of the routes have been simplified this year, and we will be starting/finishing from the Alpine Inn in Portola Valley for all of the races.
